Handmade Felt

This video tutorial is created for children, but you could also watch the tutorial alone to learn how to make felt and then then present the activity to your child yourself if you prefer to do crafts without screens.

The tutorial is lengthy and shows every step so that you can follow along and work on your felt while you watch.

AGE

This project can be done with children of all ages. I imagine that children as young as 4 years old could enjoy helping to make felt.

Young children will need lots of help. You will see in the video that my 7 year old needed quite a bit of help while my 10 year old was able to make it all by himself.

TIME

This project will take approximately one hour to complete.

TIP

Keep in mind that you can change the playback speed of the videos to 2X. This can come in handy if you want to skim through the tutorial to get a general idea of what to expect before you begin your project.
